The Performance Intensive gives dancers the opportunity to fully delve into the process of creation and preparing to share work through a formal performance. Dancers will learn ballet, pointe (for adv students), modern and contemporary choreography as well as work collaboratively to create movement for a new work called Wisdom of the Herbs. The dance pieces will explore the energy and characteristics of healing plants, for example; dandelions, burdock, chamomile, nettles and rose. Each piece will tell the individual plant’s story through movement and music. Dancers will have two technique classes daily and field trips to swim and rehearse at the performance site.

Peter & The Wolf Dance Camp

August 5  – 9

Monday – Friday – 9 – 3pm

Join us to bring a classic tale of Peter and his adventures with the Bird, Duck, Cat and Wolf to life through dance & art! Dancers begin the day with animal adventure yoga and follow with Ballet and Modern classes. Dancers will learn and collaboratively create dances to the symphonic fairy tale by Segei Prokfiev. We will make animal masks and scenery for an exciting performance on Friday at 2:30pm.

The School

Our mission is to bring quality dance education to all ages. Our goal is to teach students how the body works (biomechanics) while focusing on developing a strong center, energy awareness and creativity for a healthy mind, body and spirit.

The Company

The Company’s mission is to create an artistic community focused around dance. We offer a creative and fun experience which is also physically and artistically challenging. Dancers participate in classes, rehearsals and performances. Our goal is to share dance as a performing art to the wider community.
