Modern Technique

The classic structure of Martha Graham Technique class builds from the floor up. Contraction and release, spiral, and tilt develop core and back strength and opens the hips, chest and shoulders. Center work and traveling exercises are based upon the floor work principals to travel through space with a grounded, connected and earthy quality. Graham’s dramatic movement style creates a powerful, dynamic physical experience.
